Ty Segall Reveals ‘Sleeper’ Cover, Shares Tracklist
A month after Ty Segall formally announced plans for his Sleeper LP, the increasingly prolific San Francisco psych-garage guy has let loose more details behind the set.
Down below, you can see the 10-song tracklisting, which includes song titles like “Sweet C.C.,” “Queen Lullabye” and “The Man Man.” Segall also unveiled the swirling carpet patterns that make up it’s album cover, which you can see up above.
As previously reported, the record drops August 20 through Drag City. A press release notes that Segall wrote the 10-song cycle at home earlier this year, and it’s apparently a tripped-out affair. The press sheet goes on to add that the LP “flows more colours than ever before through your mind’s eye, pushing the walls of the universe out just a micron further, making everything heavier and lighter all at once, to allow time to beam infinitely forever.”
The garage rocker hits the road in support of Sleeper later this summer, but unfortunately no Canadian dates have been announced.
